Using QR codes to Throw Great Business Events

The rapid evolution in the technology of Smartphones has increased its usefulness, giving your iPhone added features which can be used to plan and arrange events. There are plenty of apps that can assist you in your corporate event planning, let’s look through some of them.

Maps app is one of the most versatile tools which enables the use of a phone in organizing events.  Its features not only include giving map addresses directly to invited guests, but also provide a street view so they will know where exactly they are going, how to get there and gives them an idea of what the venue looks like. Giving comments or annotations to places and landmarks will also help guests in preparing for their trip to the event and will be useful while they are driving with the aid of a GPS.

Issuing invitations through your own site and social media sites like  Facebook, Twitter and other websites allows  you to group speakers and guests who are coming and those who are still
deliberating if they will attend or not.  Creating messages specific for the group who are sure that they will grace the occasion; and for those who are still unsure and needs further persuasion can be done through your smartphones.

QR codes are useful before, during and after an event.  They can be placed in invitations to provide guests with information about the occasion or lead them to where the venue is.  During
the event you can use the QR codes to notify those who were not able to attend the activity to check on websites covering the activity and watch what is happening for them to know what is going on.

Foursquare and Facebook apps that are used by guests, particularly those who have checked into your event through these websites to show they  are part of the occasion, and let others know what they are doing are unconsciously promoting your event to their friends and contacts
effectively.

With the use of apps, guests who scan things there can receive gifts during the occasion, they can claim gifts sent to their phone or they can signify that they want more information or presents which will be sent to them after the event.

Bump or  business card apps is an easy way for guests at your event to exchange information and contact numbers by “bumping” another iPhone user or pushing a few keys in an apps to share business information with a new contact.

With an Orange Qr membership you will be able to create invitations and links to Facebook groups with hosting information on your event.
